Breathwork Disclaimer & Contraindications

Breathwork is a powerful practice that can influence the nervous system, emotions, and physical body. While many people find it deeply supportive and regulating, it may not be appropriate for everyone.

Please consult with a medical professional before participating in breathwork if you have any of the following conditions:
• Pregnancy
• Cardiovascular disease or high blood pressure
• History of heart attack or stroke
• Severe asthma or respiratory conditions
• Epilepsy or seizure disorders
• Glaucoma or detached retina
• Recent surgery or physical injury
• Severe mental health conditions including psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder
• Use of medications that significantly alter brain chemistry

Breathwork can sometimes bring up strong physical or emotional experiences. By choosing to participate, you acknowledge that you are responsible for listening to your body and adjusting or stopping the practice at any time.
This practice is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
If at any time you feel dizzy, overwhelmed, or uncomfortable, please return to normal breathing, open your eyes, and rest.
